The History of Hadfield Bull & Bull
Our senior partner Mike Hadfield set up Hadfield & Co Solicitors in late 1993 after over 10 years practice in reputable London firms. It started as a sole practice with a single client. Shortly after that Karen Sampson our managing partner joined and Mike and Karen have developed the firm both in terms of the services offered and the client base built on its core value of client service.
In 2016 Mike and Karen together with Gideon Scott Solicitor became partners in Bull & Bull Solicitors an established Kent firm with offices in Faversham and Herne Bay. Sadly, Gideon passed away in early 2018 and is dearly missed. Bull & Bull have a long history, the firm being founded in 1813 by Sir William Henry Bull in London. This was several years before The Law Society was even formed. At one point, the senior partner Sir William Bull (1863 to 1931) was also an MP.
Mike and Karen have overseen the move of the office in Herne Bay to modern offices at The Links. In 2017, Mike and Karen were keen to introduce family services and became partners in Neves Scott which is based in Dartford.
All three firms trade as Hadfield Bull & Bull Solicitors. Mike and Karen continue to develop HBB supported by a talented and dedicated group of consultants, solicitors and staff.
